AANA members are rental housing owners, property management firms, apartment communities and companies that supply products or services to rental properties.
AANA was founded in 1978 for the purpose of advancing the general welfare of the multi-family housing industry in Huntsville/Madison and its surrounding areas. We strive to accomplish this by developing, organizing and conducting education programs for the benefit of AANA members and the industry. AANA, in conjunction with the National Apartment Association, offers designation programs. These programs are designed to help raise professionalism in property management and provide better services to apartment renters and owners. Participating in AANA mutually benefits all members by the interchange of information and experience. By functioning cooperatively with the National Apartment Association (NAA) and the Alabama Apartment Association (AAA), AANA is able to undertake the services desired by owners and managers.
AANA could not exist without the help of its many volunteers and the committees they serve on. If you would like to find out more about volunteering on a committee, click the link below.

The purpose of the AANA is to promote professional growth within the multi-family housing industry by offering diverse networking opportunities, advocating and encouraging constant improvement of techniques through educational programs; to keep the members informed on legislative issues that affect our industry; and to promulgate a Code of Ethics for the purpose of maintaining high standards and sound business practices to meet the needs of the property owners, management companies and rental housing community.
